Nitrogen Pumps

Nitrogen pumps are used to suppress various gases, liquids or other dangerous elements whenever a risk assessment dictates.

Prior Power Solutions’ nitrogen pumps use engine power and recovered engine heat to vaporize and pump liquid nitrogen from a liquid nitrogen tank. Our range of units are capable of pumping 60,000 to 540,000 SCFH of gaseous nitrogen with pressures up to 15,000 psi and at discharge temperature of 70°F.

Liquid nitrogen is taken from a nitrogen storage/transport tank by a centrifugal boost pump to a high-pressure triplex pump. High-pressure liquid nitrogen then passes through the unique vaporization system to convert the high-pressure liquid to high-pressure gaseous nitrogen.

Prior Power Solutions’ nitrogen pumps feature a long service interval flame trap meaning typical 8-hour service intervals have been replaced with 1,000 hour service intervals reducing downtime and waste.

Prior Power Solutions recognizes the need for quality bespoke units to suit customer requirements for a range of operating environments and therefore our nitrogen pumps are manufactured to a wide range of formats and specifications and certified to suit all locations around the world.

Prior Power Solutions’ modular build process facilitates faster build times and allows for future-proofed equipment for future advancements in technology such as more energy efficient engines, or changing operating needs.

By investing in nitrogen pumps manufactured by Prior Power Solutions, you are assured of equipment that is built to a high standard with ease of ongoing maintenance in mind and backed by excellent aftersales support.
